In detail
These facilities primarily serve French residents. For them, eligibility requirements are set by the relevant French authorities (primarily Departmental Offices for People with Disabilities and Regional Health Agencies). You can find all the information in the related procedure "Receiving care and accommodation services as a French resident."
For Belgian residents with disabilities who wish to be admitted, admission requirements are specific to the facility if the care is not publicly funded. Admission requirements are defined by the AVIQ if it provides financial support for the care (only for designated spots).
