Access the online application WebTeuv 2.0 to apply for an exceptional transport authorization

Summary

WebTeuv is an online application designed to:

  • add a vehicle to the vehicle library and obtain approval (mandatory to obtain authorization after October 1, 2025)
  • request and receive authorization for exceptional transport

A new version was launched in May 2023. To log in, you must first complete a secure authentication procedure.

There is a distinction in this procedure between Belgian and non-Belgian companies.

Key points

From February 2, 2026, in order to apply for (and obtain) a special transport permit, the vehicle must be approved (after being entered into the vehicle library via WebTeuv).

In detail

Conditions

If the applicant has never previously applied for a special transport permit, they must complete and return the following form Request for connection to WebTeuv

Benefits

Online applications are processed much faster than those sent by registered mail (paper version).

Online applications help avoid errors such as:

  • requesting the wrong authorization category
  • entering incorrect weights in the vehicle file

Exchanging information (questions, additional information, clarifications) is much faster online than by paper mail.

Procedure

There is a distinction between Belgian and non-Belgian companies.

Belgian Companies

All Belgian companies with a WebTEUV username and password (as of April 28, 2023) were registered in WebTEUV based on their BCE number.

The company itself handles the subsequent registration process for its employees so they can log in to WebTEUV.

This registration takes place in two phases. Some steps may already be in place for your company.

Designation of access managers in CSAM;

Creation of WebTEUV access for your employees.

The procedure is described in this manual.

If your company employs workers who do not have a Belgian identity card but need to log in to WebTEUV, these individuals must apply for a BIS number if they do not already have one. To do this, consult the page: Digital Keys for Non-Belgians | Flanders.be or Request and Activation of Digital Keys | BOSA

English:

https://bosa.belgium.be/en/services/requesting-and-activating-digital-keys

It is sometimes tempting to deny access to employees who only use WebTEUV sporadically and allow them to log in with other people's credentials.

However, when you give your login details to another person, you are also giving away your digital identity. This can have negative consequences.

Furthermore, it is recommended that your employees activate multiple digital keys on CSAM so that they are not dependent on a single system for logging in.

Non-Belgian Companies

Non-Belgian companies cannot use this system. You must first register as an applicant online via the "WebTEUV Registration" form.

You will then receive an email containing a link to activate your MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). This will allow you to choose your own password.

These companies cannot manage the list of people with access to their WebTEUV pages themselves. Access is strictly personal.

If you wish to grant access to other people in your company, you must send an email to teuv@sprb.brussels specifying the first and last name and email address of the individuals concerned.

These individuals will then receive an email containing a link to activate your MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication). This will allow them to choose their own password.

Individuals logging in for multiple companies :

It is possible for an individual to use WebTEUV for multiple companies.

  • Multiple Belgian companies: When logging in via CSAM, the individual can choose the company they are currently logging in for.
  • Multiple foreign companies: This individual must provide a separate email address for each company they work for. Upon logging in, they will have access to the corresponding email address.
  • A mix of Belgian and foreign companies: For Belgian companies, the individual will log in via CSAM. For each foreign company, they must provide a separate email address.

Individuals:

Individuals may apply for permits to put exceptional transport into circulation (only by completing the form available via this link and returning it by registered mail and post to the address mentioned on the form)

Currently, you will not be granted access to WebTEUV as an individual. Those who previously had access will temporarily be unable to do so. Connect. We are working on a solution that will also allow access for individuals, but we cannot yet announce when this solution will be implemented.

We advise these individuals to contact an agent. These are companies that submit applications on behalf of others. They can also explain specific rules and regulations for the requested transport. You can also contact a specialized transport company that handles permits and transport.

If you still wish to apply for your permit yourself, please contact the administration of your region (see contact details) or the region that best corresponds to your language preference if you do not reside in Belgium. If you have already obtained a permit in the past, it is helpful to mention the permit number.

Coût

There are no fees for connecting to WebTeuv (only authorizations are subject to a charge).
