Summary
Residential Services for Adults (SRA) are facilities that provide care and housing for adults with disabilities. Some Residential Services for Adults (SRA) also offer short-term housing, meaning for a limited period.
People with disabilities receive support tailored to their needs (educational, social, and psychological). This support aims to:
- their social integration;
- their participation in civic life;
- their access to culture;
- their personal fulfillment;
- professional integration, if feasible for the beneficiary.
Adult Residential Services (SRA) provide continuous care and housing for beneficiaries. These services support them 24 hours a day, all year round.
Adult Residential Services (SRA) are not just a place to stay. They are also a place to live. Every day, a team of various professionals supports beneficiaries and helps them define a life plan.
Key points
People with disabilities who use these services contribute financially to their care. AVIQ sets a daily fee through its regulations. If the beneficiary’s income does not allow them to pay this amount, AVIQ will adjust the contribution by calculating a new amount based on income.
