It is intended exclusively for the Scientific Society of General Medicine (SSMG), which is the only training provider authorized to deliver this training.

This procedure is intended for the Scientific Society of General Medicine (SSMG), which is the only training organization providing the basic training for coordinating physicians and nursing home/long-term care advisors.
AVIQ’s role consists of recognizing the basic training that qualifies individuals for the roles of coordinating physician and advisor in nursing homes. This recognition is renewed every 5 years.
At the end of each cycle, AVIQ contacts the SSMG with a form to be completed in order to renew the recognition of the training (see the "Forms" section).
